Our Twin est un projet photographique né de ma rencontre avec plusieur·e·s jumelles et jumeaux.
À travers ces portraits, je cherche à explorer la relation gémellaire dans ce qu’elle a de singulier, d’intime, de troublant.
Ce projet est aussi une manière, pour moi, de questionner ma propre gémellité, de comprendre ce que cela signifie d’être deux, d’être perçu·e comme un·e autre, ou comme une moitié. L’image devient ici un terrain de dialogue, de reconnaissance et parfois de confusion.
Our Twin is a photographic project born of my encounters with several twins.
Through these portraits, I aim to explore the singular, intimate and unsettling nature of twin relationships. This project is also a way for me to question my own twin-ness - to understand what it means to be two, to be perceived as another, or as half. The image becomes a terrain for dialogue, recognition and sometimes confusion.
